On February 4, 2019, GABWA, Augusta hosted the State Bar of Georgia’s program Journey Through Justice. Deborah Craytor, from the Georgia Bar presented a lesson entitled Student Technology and the Law to approximately seventy students from Lucy Laney High School and the Academy of Richmond County. Students also learned about requirements for obtaining a law degree and about the diversity of the profession. Other program participants included Laverne Lewis Gaskins, GABWA Augusta regional Vice President, and attorneys Lejoi Williamson, Alexia Davis, Anthony Hightower, and Geoffrey Alls. The program was well-received by both the students and school administrators.
