2020 Membership Beta
GABWA membership is open to any interested lawyer, law student, or friend of the legal community. Becoming a member is a great way to expand your network, enhance your professional development, and to stay connected with issues affecting lawyers. Members enjoy many benefits – members only events, access to the GABWA listserve, discounts on the cost of programs, social networking, business referrals and much more.
Step 1: Pay Membership Dues
In order to become a member, please select the appropriate membership type below, complete the membership form, and submit the required dues. If you have any questions or if we can be of any help, please contact membership@gabwa.org.
Membership in the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys is available to any person meeting one of the following criteria:
Regular Member
A Regular Member is an individual, current in her dues, who is a law school graduate licensed to practice law in a state, district, or territory of the United States of America.
Associate Member
An Associate Member is an individual, current in her dues, with an interest, real or tangential, in the goals of the Organization, but does not qualify as any other member.
Law Student Member
A Student Member is an individual, current in her dues, who is enrolled in law school and who has an interest, real or tangential, in the goals of the Organization.
Student Associate Member
A Student Associate Member is an individual, current in her dues, who is enrolled in post-secondary educational studies and who has an interest, real or tangential, in the goals of the Organization but does not qualify as a Law Student Member.
Step 2: Submit your Membership Application
In order to be added to and have access to the GABWA listserve, you will need to submit a 2020 Membership Application and designate your preferred e-mail address for listserve communications. Complete Membership Application Here.
