Community Service – coordinate service projects related to our mission

Judicial Review – review judicial applicants to make recommendations to appropriate Judicial Nominating Commission

Legal Education – identify CLE and educational opportunities for GABWA members and the community

Legally Speaking – produce and generate topics for GABWA’s cable-access television show

Membership – plan and promote activities to increase and retain members and manage database of members

Newsletter – identify and write articles of interest to our membership to include in our monthly newsletter

Political Action – monitor legislation, political issues and candidates seeking election to offices of interest to GABWA

Sister-To-Sister Mentoring – bi-monthly one-on-one mentoring for at-risk girls (ages 13 to 17) in the Fulton County Juvenile Court system

Student Programs – develop opportunities and programming for college students and current law students

Women-To-Women Initiative – mentoring program for attorney members; exchange substantive legal support in specific practice areas

Technology Committee – maintain the website and manage the GABWA listserves
